The American Widow Project and United Grace

Grace & Gratitude

An important aspect of United Grace is that a portion of all proceeds will go back to the military community and their families. We are proud to work with and feature various military organizations that we will support and tell you their story.

The American Widow Project

http://www.americanwidowproject.org

Since 2001, over 6,500 U.S. service members have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Around half of these service members were married, leaving an estimated 3,200 military widows across our country, from the wars alone. While the service member’s sacrifice is acknowledged, many simply forget or fail to recognize the sacrifice of the spouse who is now left a widow of war. Oftentimes the invisible wounds of military widows are disregarded due to age or a simple lack of knowledge and understanding.
The American Widow Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to the new generation of those who have lost the heroes of yesterday, today and tomorrow, with an emphasis on healing through sharing stories, tears and laughter. Military Widow to Military Widow.

History of the Gold Star

During World War l, families hung gold stars in their windows to honor those who were killed while serving the nation. In 1928, twenty-five mothers met in Washington D.C. to establish Gold Star Mothers Inc. These ladies paved the way for our country to recognize the ultimate sacrifice of our fallen. In honoring that tradition, we hope this line will serve as a symbol to our Gold Star Families that their loved ones will never be forgotten.

Gold Star Grace Pendant
Your Company can make a powerful difference in the life of a young American widow and support the American Widow Project at the same time! The Gold Star has been a symbol of a fallen American warrior since World War I. Families have proudly displayed the symbol of this ultimate sacrifice for the past century. We, at United Grace, are proud to carry on this tradition with the Gold Star Grace Pendant.

United Grace is honored to partner with the American Widow Project

We have created a special edition pendant dedicated to the widows of our fallen. This Gold Star Pendant symbolizes perseverance, love, and the ultimate sacrifice. Each sparkle of this stunning pendant is a constant reminder of not only the sacrifice, but the legacy and grace of those left behind. Our goal is to present every widow of the AWP with one of these beautiful necklaces, but we need your help. Every necklace that you purchase will be donated “in your name” to a young widow. They will be presented, in person, by the founder of the AWP, Ms.Taryn Davis. We have reduced the price for this campaign by 15% (Retail $180, now $153) In addition, a portion of all proceeds will go back to support the American Widow Project. These pendants are of the highest quality and are sure to become family heirlooms. You can make a widow feel beautiful and remembered. You can honor a fallen soldier and you can support the AWP! The perfect trifecta! Just contact us at info@unitedgrace.com and we will do the rest. Remember each contribution is tax deductible.

Introducing the Winner of our Valentine's Day Giveaway! Ali Aneiros~

The Blue Star Grace represents the pride I have for our military, especially my belated husband Yoe (Spc. Yoe M. Aneiros KIA 9.7.04) who gave his life protecting his adopted country. He was killed on his 20th Birthday, but his selfless sacrifice and eternal smile will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
It represents the love I have for my family and friends who have been by my side supporting me every step of the way.
It is a symbol of a new journey; of faith, hope, dreams and love, everything that at some point was gone from my life. I have been blessed to have found love again with a man who not only respects but also understands my journey. He loves me so much. What more can I ask for?
“I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness for it shows me the stars.”
