Our goal is to present every widow of the AWP with their own Gold Star pendant, but WE NEED YOUR HELP. Every necklace that you purchase will be donated " In your name" to a military widow. They will be presented, in person, by the founder of the AWP. The price has been reduced by 15% for this campaign. Since 2001, over 6,500 U.S. service members have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Around half of these service members were married, leaving an estimated 3,200 military widows across our country, from the wars alone. While the service member’s sacrifice is acknowledged, many simply forget or fail to recognize the sacrifice of the spouse who is now left a widow of war.
