Aly Rohling shows her United Grace spirit, all the way from Asiago, Italy!
Aly has been a Blue Star family member for 23 years and is the true definition of grace. She is married to Col. Andrew Rohling, BDE Commander of the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, and they have two gorgeous children, Isabella (12) and Jack (10). Aly has supported not only her husband, but also countless spouses, over many duty stations, deploymyents and training exercises. The impact and influence she has made over the years has been felt by many and forgotten by none. She is truly one-of-a-kind; Aly is the type of military spouse we all long for in a leader, as well as a "battle buddy." Her spunky personality, warm heart, positive "can-do" attitude, sense of flair, fun and humor light up the darkest room. And, if that doesn't work, her collection of chandeliers is sure to help!
Aly is the owner of La Bella Luce, http://labellaluceimports.com/, which she founded in 2003, in Piazzola Sul Brenta Italy. La Bella Luce has attracted an international following and showcases unusual, hard to find, one of a kind pieces, encompassing Liberty style, Baroque and Art Deco. A skilled businesswoman and interior designer, Aly has moved and opened La Bella Luce from Italy to Clarksville, TN, to Clifton, VA.
Our Blue Star symbol of unity reaches across the waters, across the globe. We are united by duty stations, deployments, training schools, FRG activities, but mostly, we are united by the common bond known to the proud few who have been united by this military life.
